What Transcape does
Real-time subtitle translation
Transcape turns spoken audio into live captions and translation on iPhone. Users choose languages and an audio source, start a session, and see bilingual subtitles while watching or listening. The app is built for active listening, not ordinary text translation.
Floating captions across apps
Transcape uses a user-initiated floating caption surface so captions can remain visible while the user switches to video, meeting, course, livestream or podcast apps. The user must explicitly start the session and, for app audio, the iOS screen broadcast flow.
Private by design
Audio, recognized text and translations are not uploaded to developer-operated servers. Transcape uses Apple system frameworks for speech recognition and translation, stores preferences and optional local history on device, and does not use third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking.
